Place was immaculately clean, everything was excellent. The hotel's staff was very amiable. The restaurant was fantastic from breakfast through dinner, I tried delicious dishes. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, I enjoyed it. I greatly enjoyed the stay here.
Their staff were busy.

Hotel staff and reasonable rates. I thought the hotel was a bargain as to price. I would like the restaurant to open at 7:00 AM instead of 7:30 and it should also provide pan dulce. The prices in the restaurant appeared reasonable for everything except meat dishes which to a traveler from rural Mexico appeared to be rather high.Menu choices appeared more than adequate. We did not eat there so I cannot comment on the food preparation. Why didn't we eat there? Because my companions wanted to eat at either a seafood restaurant or a beach side deluxe restaurant.M. L. Room was very noisy. It was next to the pool where a loud crowd was carrying on until 11:00 pm. I realize Mexicans feel they have the right to make all the noise they want whenever they want, but when one wants to get an early start in the morning, it is should not be too much to expect a night's sleep. The restaurant is supposed to open at 7:00 am. I could not get waited on there and finally gave up about 7:35. All in all a poor experience.Hotel is hard to find. I had to get a taxi to take me there (bout 8-10 min). He charged me 150 mp. Theft.

I found the air conditioning in my room to be helpful, especially after spending days exploring the area. The restaurant offered a variety of traditional dishes.
I had an unpleasant experience when I had to get ice from the bar, only to be told it was the last of the free ice.

Would recommend for a lightning stop
Cozy room, quiet location, with a pool area that offers a nice respite after a day of exploration, and it's conveniently located about 40 km from the airport.
Nothing to fault.

The Azteca Inn sits right in the heart of the Golden Zone. My room was small but had all the basics covered. The air conditioning worked well, helping to keep the heat at bay. The pool area had a nice vibe, although I noticed it wasn't the cleanest. There were times I spotted cockroaches while lounging outside, quite unsettling. Staff at the front desk could use some friendliness training. On the bright side, the cleaning staff was fantastic and always cheerful. I appreciated having a tienda nearby for quick snacks. But the hotel had so many rules that felt restricting. No alcohol in the rooms felt a bit odd.
